Casa Vista is located in the spectacular hinterland behind the historic village of Bangalow. The design was inspired to make the most of the view with the entire house spreading across a ridge. For over a decade it has been our family’s much loved home away from home.
Spectacular sunsets, morning mists in the valley and the luscious green countryside become part of everyday living at Casa Vista. Recently renovated we have created a Mediterranean style Casa with open plan living spaces, soaring double height ceilings, white venetian plaster walls and luxurious furniture and fittings.
With large indoor and outdoor living spaces and five private en-suited bedroom spaces, the home has provided our family with a comfortable gathering location for celebrations and special occasions for many years. The close proximity to the beach, restaurants and shops have always made it very easy to entice everyone to gather.
The recent renovation to the home reflects our collective family travels through Mexico, Italy and Africa. It radiates a timeless Mediterranean feel with warmth, luxury and comfort at the forefront of the interior design.

Casa Vista is available for both accommodation and photoshoot hire. There are 5 bedrooms (sleeps 13) each with their own ensuite. Three of the bedrooms are suites with their own private entrance, balcony, kitchenette and double spa bath. The main part of the house has a spacious, open plan living area and large under-covered deck accessed via a series of bifold doors. The large private bedrooms and beautiful indoor outdoor common spaces make Casa Vista perfect for large groups where some privacy is desired.
The Mediterranean inspired interiors combined with Casa Vista’s panoramic hinterland views, creates a picturesque backdrop for photo shoots. You can find all details regarding accommodation and photoshoot hire below.

THE SPACE
The main living area at Casa Vista is a large hexagonal shape with a covered deck on three sides. Features of the living space include soaring double height ceilings, Mediterranean arches and white venetian plaster walls. The interiors include a combination of raw timber tables custom made by local craftsmen, rust coloured oversized sofas for comfort and relaxation, and locally made artworks inspired by our travels to Africa.
As well as the living areas there are two bedrooms which form part of the main house. There is also an indoor/outdoor annex which houses a magnificent antique copper bath.
The other three bedroom suites are attached to the house but are accessed via their own separate external entrances. Each suite has its own balcony, kitchenette, and double spa bath.
Casa Vista sleeps up to 13 people.
Minimum stay 5 nights.
You have easy access to the restaurants and shops of Bangalow (7 min drive) and Newrybar (5 minute drive) as well as the world class beaches of Byron Bay (20 minute drive) and Lennox Head (20 minutes drive).
Getting to Casa Vista is easy, only 20 minutes drive from Ballina airport and 20 minutes from the centre of Byron Bay town.
Price varies from $1800 (low season) - $2100 (high season/school holidays) per night.
